Goodwins’ is our two bedroomed house in the centre of Swadlincote – just a few minutes walk from the Pipe and its surrounding shops and businesses.
Also ideally placed for the surrounding area of Burton on Trent, Derby, Lichfield, Tamworth, Birmingham and Ashby with a good network of roads.
Swadlincote is a former mining town, lying within the National Forest and borders Leicestershire and Staffordshire.
Later, Swadlincote became know for its brickworks and pottery. Cornishware was manufactured in Swadlincote for many years until it was more viable to manufacture in China.
There is a quaint town centre consisting of many small local shops, a pottery museum, the Ski Slope and an American ‘50s style diner, said to be the largest such establishment in the UK.
Swadlincote Woodlands Forest Park is an 80 acre site with more than 40,000 trees, 2 recreational forest trails and a number of view points across the town.
Goodwins’ has a double bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds.
It has a large bathroom with a bath and shower over.
Downstairs is a spacious lounge with patio doors opening onto a patio area and beyond a gravel garden with car port.
There is a downstairs guest cloakroom and a large dining kitchen with table and chairs.
There is ample parking on the front, side and also carport.
As with our other properties we use either ring doorbells or cctv outside cameras for security.
